Membership
The Fanshawe College Administrative Staff Association is a voluntary association that supports and promotes the interests and needs of the college’s administrators. Members of the college’s staff association automatically are members of OCASA (Ontario College Administrative Association). You join FCASA by joining OCASA. Annual membership dues are $265. Over 70% of FC administrators are members. The current executive is: Chris Fliesser, President; Dave Smith, Vice President; Martie Grof-Iannelli; Secretary, Marilyn Turner; Member at Large, Terry Boyd; Sharon Dale, Treasurer; Jeff Sage, Marketing; Donna Gates, OCASA representative.
The executive meets with the Office of the President regularly. Currently we are discussing the following issues: Review of compensation packages; length of time some administrators are performing more than one role; establishing a pool of qualified administrators who can fill in; Terms and conditions of employment issues; bi-weekly payroll; training/support for administrators in new positions; reviewing policies;
